4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 1/2 lbs)
1 Egg, slightly beaten
2/4 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 Jar (26oz) marinara sauce
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 400 Degrees F
Dip chicken in egg, then bread crumbs, coating well
In a 13x9-in glass baking dish, arrange chicken
Bake uncovered 20 min (if in metal pan, increase the oven temp by 25 degrees)
Pour the marinara sauce over chicken, then top with cheese
Bake an additional 10 min or until chicken is no longer pink
Served if desired, with hot cooked pasta
Makes 4 servings.
** I personally like getting boneless skinless chicken breast and cut them in half myself and serve over spaghetti noodles... so good even Logan eats it all**
